My Mantra
My Mantra
If you read a lot, you'll eventually run across certain phrases, verses, or sentences that will take your mind somewhere else. I once read that one's own breath is the greatest gift a person can receive in life.
When I first read it, I didn't give it much credence. However, after spending a month in the hospital due to Covid -19, I now know there is no greater truth. Everyone strives to lead the greatest life they can, but in doing so, they often overlook the simple pleasures that serve as the foundation of happiness.
It is love and gratitude for me.
The experience of falling in love is unparalleled. Love is the one and only feeling that has no negative consequences. Love isn't limited to our romantic attachments; it encompasses everything that brings us joy. There is so much beauty on Earth, from the majesty of the sun to the songbirds and snowy peaks. The greater a person's capacity for love, the smaller the room left for unhappiness. Throughout my life, I have been blessed with a supportive and loving network that includes my parents, my wife, my brother and sister-in-law, my extended family, and my closest friends. I'm probably one of the fortunate few people who finds work to be just as enjoyable as his other interests, which include reading, writing, travelling, and spending time with friends and family. Enjoy the moment since it makes your life easier.
Many things in life we take for granted and fail to express gratitude for. I am also guilty of taking things for granted in life, but experience is the best teacher, and I have come to understand the importance of gratitude . Life isn't always simple, and things don't always go as planned, but I've learned that every breath we take is an opportunity to change things for the better.
Despite the strange coincidences that make up life, we have a lot of goals that we wish to achieve. We occasionally fall short of our objectives and experience and feel trapped in a web of despair. I can say that I, can attest to the fact that I've had a lot of similar occurrences. In such circumstances, the stanza "Subeh Hoti Hain, Shaam Hoti Hain, Zindagi yuhin tamam Hoti Hain" comes to mind.
As a result, I now know that focusing on positivity and gratitude is the best approach to living a life you love.
